The Mobile Entertainment industry is changing very rapidly. New technologies and trends are introduced all the time. Only those who formally train and keep ahead of the trends move forward.   With more than 390 hours of formal training you will be working with one of the most highly trained Mobile Entertainers in Southern Alberta. 

  HIGH QUALITY - DIGITAL MUSIC

We have a large and varied music database of more than 350 professional, digitally recorded compact disks and over 3500 computer files so you get the highest quality sound.   With songs from 1945 to 2012 your special songs and appropriate guest requests will be played.   All of the music is legal for public performance and licensed by the Audio Video Licensing Agency Inc.   We always use professional quality, brand name equipment from well-known manufacturers.   We will always play the music at a volume that is appropriate to that event, the guests, and the venue.   

     GLOBAL NETWORKING

No other entertainment company in Calgary gives you access to Alberta's largest mobile entertainment network of DJ's, musicians, and other wedding professionals.

We network with other Disk Jockeys and industry leaders locally, provincially, nationally and internationally through conferences and the Internet. This keeps us in touch with new trends and helps us avoid problems.

Sound Celebrations is the first company in Calgary to have met all the professional standards in compliance with the Alberta Association of Mobile Entertainers and have remained a member company since 2003. In 2005 we exceeded those already high standards and are now acknowledged as a Bronze Member company within AAME.

In 2006, the 30th. year of the Canadian Disc Jockey Association, Interactive Entertainment has also qualified and been accepted into the longest running, national, chaptered Disc Jockey association in the world.
Again, we meet or exceed all national standards and help to grow the Disc Jockey industry in Canada.  

We are also members and supporters of the Canadian Alliance of Professional Entertainers, The Audio Video Licensing Agency, The American Federation of Musicians US & Canada and the Edmonton Musician's Association.   We are part of these organizations not only for the benefits we receive as professionals, but primarily for the benefits our client receive.  Among others are the availability of back-up equipment and back-up staff in the event of a last minute break-down and the ability for our clients to seek free mediation by these organizations in the unlikely event of a communication break-down with the client.  We find its another level of protection, like purchasing insurance.  

 ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES

When we receive your booking fee and confirm your date you will receive a written contract. Everything we say we will do is guaranteed in writing.   We carry $2,000,000 Liability Insurance to protect you, your guests and the venue.   Sound Celebrations is registered with the Alberta Government and the Canada Revenue Agency.   All employees receive registered benefits, holiday pay and Employment Insurance premiums.   You know you are working with a professional company who respects the hard work of others and will work hard with you.
